Dr Aongus O’Brolchain BA, MBBChBAO, ClinDipPallMed., FRACP (Endocrinology & Acute/General Medicine)

Dr O’Brolchain completed his medical degree and internship in Ireland before relocating to the Gold Coast, where he undertook specialist training in Endocrinology and Acute & General Medicine in addition to a clinical diploma in palliative care. A lecturer at Griffith University, he is an active researcher, with publications in peer-reviewed journals spanning diabetes, bone health, and pituitary disorders.

His clinical interests include diabetes, thyroid disease, obesity, lipidology and metabolic health, osteoporosis, sarcopenia, and general endocrinology. He also has a strong focus on preventative medicine, with particular emphasis on strategies that improve longevity and healthspan.

Dr O’Brolchain is active in clinical trials, with a particular focus on cardiovascular health.
